US Weekly recently confirmed that Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund have called their relationship off after being together for three years. In Touch broke the news of the star’s breakup with Hedlund.
Just a few days before they broke up, the couple had listed their house in the Los Feliz neighborhood area of Los Angeles, for close to $2 million. As of December 2021, the home was in a state of contingency which means that the offer was accepted but the sale wasn’t finalized yet.
Emma Roberts Has Broken Up
The actor from The Country Song and Emma Roberts were first linked to each other back in March 2019 after Roberts had a split with Evan Peters, her on-again, off-again fiance. A source close to the couple spoke about how Emma and Garrett had always been friends, but they were giving the relationship thing a go- which was informed to US Weekly at that time.
Throughout their whirlwind romance, they did manage to keep their relationship quite private. Roberts, on her part, went on to explain that the only reason she wanted to keep her private life to herself was simply that she had been famous from quite a young age.
Back in 2019, Emma Roberts spoke about growing up had always been hard for her- simply because she never had a private moment to herself. Due to Instagram and Twitter, there was always this completely different element where everybody would be able to comment on what the other person was doing- with no one knowing the original story.
In 2020, US Weekly had confirmed that Emma Roberts and her partner were expecting their first child together. Needless to say, the duo were quite shocked, happy, and surprised at the same time, and so were their families.
