England’s WC aspirations may have been shattered, but defensive duo Kyle Walker & Stones does not wish to depart Qatar empty-handed. Thus the RB-CB duo deciided to bring home a cat adopted by the squad at their base camp for training.
On Saturday, England fell short versus France, who advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 qf win thanks to a Giroud header late in the game.
However, according to the Brittish rules after the Covid, this stray cat, named Dave by the CB, Stones will now have to stay in quarantine for 4 months before it can come back to be reunited with the defensive duo of Manchester City.
Kyle Walker in the official social media channel of the FA have said that the cat were in their training camp one day and they (him and Stones) decided to adopt him.

Kyle Walker also said that the Dave was welcomed to the table. He said even though some people does not like cats, he happens to love them. John Stones adding to the RB’s statement, said that in the first day the English players arrived in Qatar, the cat welcomed them. He said that the cat was always there waiting for his food every night.
The English dream of taking the football World Cup to home might be shattered but the football fans might not be too disappointed knowing some of their players are not coming back empty handed at all. They are bringing a cute company to home with themselves.
