Ezekiel Elliott, running back, Dallas Cowboys is unsure whether he can play against the Eagles next week due to his calf injury. After missing out on his 1st game of the career in Dallas’s 41-33 win over the Francisco 49ers, he promised to not shut it down. He will see what happens in the next few days and whether he can go out and play against them next week.
Ezekiel didn’t practice before the game against the Niners but Mike McCarthy, the coach, expected him to play in the next game. He didn’t practice well enough in the game against Cincinnati Bengals, December 13th and rushed for 48 yards with 12 carries. Ezekiel Elliott said that while he is not feeling well all week, he goes out and plays normally on game days. At first, he felt good but a tug on Saturday is something that he cannot play with. He said he has no problems playing with soreness and pain, but it is different when you have a tug. He is unable to be explosive.

He also lost five fumbles, a career-high, and had only one game with 100 yards in the entire season.
Elliott worked on his resistance training in his pregame warmup with Britt Brown, athletic trainer, and it seemed like Elliot won’t be out for much longer.McCarthy explained that it was not preferable for the club and him to play. They promised to evaluate him on Monday and then look at his practice on Wednesday. Elliott was replaced by Tony Pollard who had his 1st game with two touchdowns.
