Gavin Newsom Criticizes Elder For His Election Fraud Stories

Gavin Newsom, the governor of the state of California, slammed Larry Elder, who is posing as his challenger in the upcoming recall election that is to take place in the state. He claimed that Elder was trying to influence people into believing that the upcoming elections were not to be trusted. Elder had publicly asked his supporters to report that the election would not be carried out in a fair manner. It is to be noted that the upcoming election will be held on the 14th of September.

On the official campaign website of Larry Elder, the challenger of governor Gavin Newsom, there is a link that is available for the users. According to the given option, one can report the incidents regarding the election. Following that link, another page will open called “StopCAFraud.com.” nobody knows who created the website but it was done on the 27th of August. Users will be able to submit personal tips concerning the prevention of ballot fraud. 

While speaking on this incident, Gavin Newsom, the governor from the Democratic Party, stated that that was nothing but the exaggeration of the lies that were told by the supporters of Donald Trump, the former President of the country, following the 2020 Presidential elections. He called it a “Big Lie.” This statement was given while the government was casting its vote.

He was accompanied by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the First Partner. They were at the State Archives that is situated in the city of Sacramento. This incident took place on the 10th of September that took place on a Friday. Governor Gavin Newsom further added that there were a few more days for the election and yet the opposition had already started spreading lies about it.
