Jeff Bezos, The Richest Man In The World, Embarks On Space Voyage

Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, is scheduled on Tuesday to launch Blue Origin, his company’s, New Shepard. This flight would mark to be a major milestone to the strategy of American Billionaires’ idea of bringing in travel across private space. 

Jeff Bezos is scheduled to fly from a site located in a desert of West Texas. It is to happen just after nine days that Briton Branson’s Virgin Galactic had their first success in the suborbital inaugural flight. The flight is supposed to be an 11-minute ride to the edge of outer space.

Although Branson was the first person to be able to get to space, Jeff Bezos is supposed to go higher.  

Jeff Bezos is the founder of an e-commerce company known as Amazon.com Inc, which is also the source of the majority of his accumulated wealth. Mark Bezos, his brother, is an executive in private equity. Both of these people are supposed to be present in the flight along with Wally Funk, and Oliver Daemen. They are respective the two oldest and the youngest people to venture into space.

Jeff Bezos And His Companions To Space

Jeff Bezos claims that he is excited rather than being anxious, and would like to see how he feels when he is strapped into his seat. He claims both his team and his vehicle being ready for departure on the scheduled date.

Wally Funk happens to be one of the very first members of a group called Mercury 13, which was a group of women that trained to achieve the position of astronauts at NASA, but the offer was passed on because of gender discrimination. 

Oliver Daemen, 18, is the youngest and also the first paying customer for Blue Origin. He intends to study in the Netherlands taking up the subjects of innovation management and physics. 

The flight is to be witnessed by the employees at Blue Origin and the family members of Jeff Bezos.
