Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, approved one of the executive orders. It was with regard to the incident of 9/11 that took place in the country. As per the executive order, the Justice Department of the country and a few other agencies of the government were told to carry out a review with regard to the documents that were related to the investigation of the aid incident that we carried out by the FBI.
Joe Biden On The Attack
President Joe Biden signed the orders on the 3rd of September that fell on Friday. It is to be noted that the order is related to the campaign promise of the president belonging to the Democratic Party. Previously, he had made the promise that there would be a review under him, and he is looking forward to fulfilling it a few days prior to the 20th anniversary of the unfortunate incident that shook the world.
As per the order given by President Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the country, is to publicly release the documents within the span of the coming six months. In a statement that was given by the President this Friday, he mentioned the pain of the family members who had to go through the loss of losing their loved ones.
He also stated that a total of 2,977 people fell victim to the terrorist act. The President called the attack to be the “worst terrorist attack” faced by the United States of America. Joe Biden also added that for the ones who lost their loved ones, it was much more than just an international tragedy or a national tragedy, for them it was “personal devastation.”
