In the age of #MeToo, nobody is unaware of the disgraced doctor at the USA Gymnastics named Larry Nassar. He was convicted of sexually abusing young female athletes. It has been recently known that he was stabbed multiple times during an altercation with another prison inmate. Larry Nassar is 59 years of age and he was immediately shifted to a hospital after the attack. It has been informed that Nassar is in stable condition at the moment.

Larry Nassar had been sentenced to up to 175 years in prison for sexually abusing young female gymnasts. These young gymnasts were entrusted to his care including Simon Biles, McKayla Maroney, and Aly Raisman who are Olympic gold medalists. The Prisons Federal Bureau has given an official statement that one of the inmates at the Florida Penitentiary Coleman had been assaulted on the afternoon of 10th July, Sunday. However, the statement did not mention any further details of this prisoner owing to security and privacy reasons.
Benjamin O’Connor, the spokesperson of the Bureau, further added that the staff of the prison immediately provided all necessary life-saving measures. The inmate was brought to the local hospital where he was properly evaluated and treated.

Larry Nassar is known to have incurred stabs in his chest, neck, and body. Reports suggest that he was stabbed 6 times in his chest.
Larry Nassar’s sentencing was a landmark in sexual abuse cases where 160 victims, many of whom of minors, related their experiences unflinchingly. His leadership was overhauled by the USA Gymnastics stating their staggering command of the lawsuits filed by hundreds of women.
Maroney and Biles were the high-profile gymnasts who shared their heart-wrenching testimony. The FBI was also held accountable by these victims for mishandling the investigation.
