The anti-abortion rights movement is at a critical juncture, which has been motivated largely by conservative justices on the SC who seem poised to rule in favor of the abortion laws of the states. Now, with the majority of the highest court seemingly putting themselves on the side of the movement, the supporters of this movement are publicly preparing for a post-Roe v. Wade America.
Anti-abortion Rights Movement On Its Last Legs?
Mike Pence, the former Vice President, stated that he firmly believed that the tide had turned towards those standing for the pro-life movement. This was stated with Mike Pence being one of the speakers at the National Pro-Life Summit in Washington on the morning of Saturday.
There, his rallying remarks were a symbol of several public appearances that were related to the Supreme Court challenge to Roe v. Wade, that the former Vice President has given in the last few months. Mike Pence’s appearances could provide some strength to the anti-abortion movement, but it is unclear as to how far would the movement stand.
Mike Pence further thanked the anti-abortion rights activists, by claiming that the pro-life generation has never been stronger. And thanks to everyone who was a part of it, life is winning in the country. And he firmly believes in the highest court in the land that would be on their side too.
The summit made one thing clear, the anti-abortion rights activists believe that the post-Roe world is imminent. Kristan Hawkins, the president of the Students of Life America tried rousing crowds to launch the next phase of the movement from Washington to every state capital.
