Jeopardy will be hosted by Mayim Bialik and Jennings for the rest of the year. This comes after Mike Richard’s exit from the show as host and executive producer.

Mayim Bialik And Jennings To Share Hosting Duties

The show had announced this news on their social media after it was previously leaked. The official page of the Show tweeted this news by calling everyone on staff, “supralunar”.

Mayim Bialik was hired with Richards to host Jeopardy (prime-time specials) and will be on the podium starting from the 20th of September.

Mayim and Jennings hold the record for the longest winning streak in the show as a contestant and will trade off as per schedules. This couple will shoot the episodes to get this show through till the end of this year.

The website for the show has reported that they are still looking for a permanent host.

Ken is a consulting producer on the show and has tried out for the position of host. His past tweets were considered to be problematic and had cost him Alex Trebek’s job.

This seems a little bizarre as Richards was ousted after his old comments on his podcast surfaced and was currently hosting Jeopardy. He taped those episodes before he was fired and it makes it awkward to watch him on air now.

However, the shows had to be on air because Matt Amodio is on a winning streak. Only James Holzhauer and Ken Jennings have won more games than Amodio.

The official Instagram account of Jeopardy has posted a  video of Matt Amodio and mentioned that he was in the third position for consecutive games won by a contestant.
