The movie hit the theatres of the United States of America on the 23rd of April. It debuted on the streaming channel, HBO Max, on the same day. The movie has already been out in Australia as well. It will be made available on Amazon Prime in the UK very soon.
Mortal Kombat opens with the scene with a prologue from the 17th century. It shows the dawn of rivalry between Sub-Zero and Scorpion, the two iconic ninjas. The role of Sub-Zero is played by Joe Taslim and that of Scorpion is carried out by Joe Taslim. The opening scene is intensely emotional. The whole tone of the adventure of the movie is set in a proper manner. The best part of Mortal Kombat is during the fight scenes.
In the 2020 movie, there are a bunch of new recruits. They include Cole Young whose role is played by Lewis Tan. Destiny has a plan for Cole in the Mortal Kombat. He is being hunted by Sub-Zero like a terminator. This is the reason that leads him to form a team with Sonya Blade, Kano, and Jax. The role of Blade is taken up by Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson plays the character of Kano, and Jax’s role is played by Mehcad Brooks.
