NASCAR Rally Witnesses Hamlin Edge Past Larson To Register Maiden Victory

It was an act of sweet revenge for David Hamlin as he beat arch-rival, Kyle Larson at NASCAR. Hamlin earlier lost the regular-season race to Larson. Hamlin and Larson were, however, the better racers for the whole season. Both the racers gave it their best shot but Hamlin’s luck somehow did not favor him. He failed to register a single win in the whole season. In contrast, Larson took the pole position in as many as five races.

Kyle Larson won the season championship along with a bag full of brownie points. Despite being winless, Hamlin was inducted into the playoffs as a potential champion. His promising runs made him earn several top ten spots.

Hamlin seemed to be determined to win this time. He took the lead and maintained it throughout. With less than fifty laps, Ryan Blaney crashed. David cautiously bypassed the crash and maintained his focus to reach the flag first. Larson came second best but still qualified for the playoffs.

NASCAR will have their next round playoffs at Richmond the following week. Both Hamlin & Larson are expected to make it to the top four. The final playoffs will take place on 7th November at Phoenix.
