Sharon Stone, the American actress, producer, and former fashion model, mentioned the name of Meryl Streep, the American actress, and three-time Academy Award winner, in her recent statement. The 63-year-old “Basic Instinct” actress did so as she spoke about her new project called “The Beauty of Living” which is a memoir. It was just last month that Johanna Schneller, a writer, had mentioned the experiences of Sharon Stone while working with the Oscar-winning actress in, The Laundromat, the movie from the year 2019. It was stated that Stone in her memoir, states that women act in the manner be it in real life or Hollywood. They are always working against each other.

Meryl Streep And Other Actresses

When it came to Meryl Streep, Stone clearly stated that they were told that she was the “only one.” Writer Johanna Schneller also mentioned the reaction of Stone when she was asked about her experiences with Meryl Streep. She said that she was interrupted. And then she rephrased it by saying that the writer could have said that the “Devil Wears Prada” got to work with her or that the two actresses got to work with one another. Stone further pointed out that the style of Schennler’s question was what was the real problem.

Sharon Stone explained her point of view clearly stating that the world of Hollywood is such that the women are told to admire and envy Meryl Streep. And that’s because she is the best there can be. However, that is not the entire truth. Stone claimed the fact that there were actresses who were as talented as Streep was. But it was the industry that portrays her to be a goddess figure. It is to be noted that while Stone made her point, she also talked about the talent and the love she has for her co-star from the “Laundromat.”
