Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show amazing form for his national side as he returns with Portugal for the Euro qualifiers. Cristiano’s national side has thrashed six goals in the back of the net against Luxembourg in their Euro cup qualifier games.

Portugal’s 38 years old veteran got two goals in the first half that took his goal tally to 122 for his national side. However, apart from Cristiano, there were Joao Felix, Otavio, Rafael Leao and Bernardo Silva himself who carved their names on the scoresheet as Portugal scored two more times than they did in their last game against Lichetenstein.

Roberto Martinez former Belgium and current Portugal manager has shown confidence over Ronaldo and has secured his first team spot in the game. It took Ronaldo nine minutes to score against Luxembourg as he tapped in a header from Nuno Mendes.

Then, on the 15th minute Joao Felix scored to double up the scoreline as he headed a Bernardo Silva cross home. Then Bernardo Silva scored from a Palhinha cross. Then finally, Cristiano scored again as a pinpoint accurate through by Bruno Fernandes to take the score to 4-0.

Portugal Win Against Luxembourg

Luxembourg looked poor in the first half. However, they were giving more resistance after coming back from the dressing room in the second half. However, it did not last longer as a great Rafael Leao ball helped Otavio to get his name on the scoresheet.

Even though Leao missed a penalty, he still managed to get his name on the scoresheet too. He scored a goal after running almost half the field to catch a Neves ball that he then squeezed in the post to make the score 6-0 for Portugal. Portugal is currently on a great position in the Euro qualifiers.
