Lil Durk, the American rapper, found himself in a serious shootout. The incident took place on the 11th of July at his residence that is situated in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. As per reports, he was staying with India Royale, the rapper’s girlfriend at his home when the unfortunate incident took place. He lives in Braselton in one of the neighborhoods popularly known as Chateau Elan. A group of people who are unknown to the rapper, made their way into the residence using force. It was around 5 in the morning.
Lil Durk Was Girlfriend Targeted
It has been stated that the 28-year-old rapper, Lil Durk and India Royale, his girlfriend, was shooted upon at around 5 in the morning as soon as the unidentified people made their entrance into the apartment. The investigation bureau of the state of Georgia has also released a few reports. It has been stated that they started firing guns at each other. However, the intruders could not be caught as they managed to run away before the arrival of the policemen.
Nobody has the precise knowledge on how many people were even involved in the gunfire attack that targeted Lil Durk and his partner. Akademiks, the American YouTuber, and DJ gave a statement on the incident on the 12th of July. He shared the news of the gunfire incident at Lil Durk’s place over a live stream video. He also stated that he came to know about this news after he was told by the neighbors who live in that area. The “Laugh Now Cry Later” artist lost OTF DThang, his brother, in a similar gunfire attack. The incident took place last month. Fortunately, both the rapper and his partner were safe and sound.
