Adam Kinzinger advocated that he was being vocal, only because he wanted it to be a public issue. The 42-year-old politician cleared out the fact that he was not doing anything for fame.
There are a few officeholders from the Republican party who have gone against Trump in public. They include Liz Cheney, the Representative, and other Republicans from the House. Together with Adam Kinzinger, they went on to vote for the impeachment of the former president, Donald Trump.
The reason for this dates back to the 6th of January, the day the Capitol riot broke out. It ended up killing a total of 5 people. Former President Trump is held to be responsible for the deadly violence.
Representative Liz Cheney gave a statement where she displayed wherever she stands in the situation of Donald Trump. The speech was delivered this Tuesday. The 54-year-old Representative mentioned the Capitol riot. She stated that justice will be granted to those who had to suffer on that day.
