Robert Lewandowski has been one of the best strikers of recent times. The Polish international has been prolific for whatever teams he had played for. Robert plays his club football in Bayern Munich, Germany. The striker is an integral part of the team and is the backbone of the strike force. Lewandowski has won quite a number of matches for his club in the past. He has the ability to change the course of a match on any given day.

However, Lewandowski does not seem to be happy with Bayern Munich. News has earlier circulated about the possibility of the Polish striker leaving Bayern. He has been heavily linked with Barcelona for the upcoming season. Robert himself has expressed his wishes to play for a different club now.

However, the CEO of the club, Oliver Kahn cleared the air by saying that they will not be selling Robert to Barcelona any sooner. This announcement came with a new proposal for the footballer. Bayern Munich has offered Robert Lewandowski an extended contract for one year. This has made the footballer unhappy to a large extent. Let us learn more about the story in detail below.

Robert Lewandowski Keen On Joining Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski feels that he has a lot more football left within him. The one-year contract from Bayern would not do justice when he can opt for a three-year deal with Barcelona.

It has been confirmed that the footballer has asked his agent to plot a way to make him join the Spanish club. Lewandowski is also unsatisfied with the financial offerings from the club.

Robert Lewandowski currently has a contract of €15million for one season.  He expected Bayern to include add-on benefits along with the basic pay.

However, that has not happened. It remains to be seen whether Lewandowski gets the green signal to join Barcelona or not.
