On 10th February, Friday, there was an unidentified object seen flying in the sky over Alaska in the afternoon. Although the object was shot down, rumors of an Alaska UFO started doing the rounds and the details from US officials seem sketchy. US jets took this unidentified object down for the 2nd time within the same week. Last Saturday, a suspected spy balloon from China was also shot down near the South Carolina coast.

Alaska UFO was not a balloon as reported by Patrick Ryder, Brigadier General, Pentagon spokesperson. It was shot at around 1:45 PM EST.

US Suspicion Of Alaska UFO

John Kirby is the strategic communications coordinator for the National Council of Security. He stated that the Alaska UFO entered US territorial waters and airspace that required immediate action. He further added that they assigned a fighter aircraft to the Northern command of the United States that took down the unidentified object in an hour.

Joe Biden, US President, also made an official statement that their operation of taking action against the rumored Alaska UFO has been successful and there is no threat anymore.

Questions And Confusion

Kirby said that President Biden had briefed them on the object the previous evening. When Pentagon received sufficient information on the rumored Alaska UFO, they took action. Nonetheless, there is no clear information regarding what that object actually was.

Kirby has shared that they still have not figured out if that unidentified object was owned by any corporate or a state or an individual. Ryder stressed that the officials were unaware of the source of the Alaska UFO and it became a threat to air traffic for civilians since the height was 40,000 feet.

It is known that the object was not related to the Chinese balloon but no further details revealed yet.
