Elizabeth and other residents of Hope Valley are back in Hallmark once again as When Calls The Heart Season 9 returns next March. It will have an extra two episodes as in last season. So you can enjoy 12 episodes this season.
The romantic drama series stars Jack Wagner, Erin Krakow, Kavan Smith, Pascale Hutton, Andrea Brooks, Paul Greene, Kevin McGarry, and Chris McNally.
When Calls… is inspired by the Janette Oke novel. The storyline follows the life of a young teacher, Elizabeth Thatcher from high society played by Krakow. She is assigned as a teacher in a school in a mining town. It is a life-changing experience for her.
While in Season 8 of When Calls The Heart Elizabeth, a single mother, and widow, chose between Mountie Nathan Grant, played y McGarry, and Lucas Bouchard, the mysterious gambler played by McNally. Season 9 will see the relationship go through some rough patches.
When Calls The Heart Remains The Highest Rated Series On Hallmark
Hallmark Channel announced the Season 9 premiere of When Calls The Heart on March 6. This serial is their longest-running and also received the highest rating.
Hope Valley has been projected as being in a vibrant state as it prospers economically. The foundry has progressed and there has been an evolution in key relationships. Lucas and Elizabeth concentrate on their mutual relationship. As Elizabeth gets better acquainted with Lucas, she learned more about his past which makes Elizabeth pause on their future relationship.
Season 9 of When Calls The Heart portends towards some excitement dropping into town. Nathan, Faith, Little Jack, Elizabeth, all appear stunned at something that transpires in the center of the town. Elizabeth and Faith look more surprised. Is it Mr. Bouchard who is onto some tricks?
Some new characters also join the folks this season, notable being Mei Suo, who essays the character of Amanda Wong in When Calls The Heart.
