The “perpetuated and twisted” storyline that pits Selena Gomez against Hailey Bieber is being denounced by the singer. During an interview on Bloomberg’s show earlier this week, the model, 26, who got married to Gomez’s former boyfriend Justin Bieber, again addressed the continuing feud rumors a few days ago. She said that she did not believe it had anything to do with her or Selena but about pitting two women in opposition to each other and creating conflict and rivalry between them. According to Hailey Bieber, it’s sad that people think they would fight for a man. She told Bloomberg this.
“I’ve detested it from the start. And I believe that relates somewhat to simply being misunderstood,” said Hailey Bieber. Both of them have repeatedly assured that there were no problems or issues but still people would treat men over them, continued Hailey. Adding further that it was disheartening to see the kind of world people have created.

Similar feelings about the alleged conflict were voiced by the model previously when she pleaded with her followers to refrain from writing horrible remarks on her posts. Hailey Bieber stated on her Instagram Story, that writing cruel, unkind, or unpleasant comments on her behalf on anyone’s posts, she condoned such things and spoke strictly against it.
She believes that doing such did not mean showing her support. Following a long period of deliberate negativity towards Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez also weighed in on the matter, condemning her fans to indulge in such activities of bullying. She said that Hailey had personally reached out to her regarding the death threats she had been receiving. Gomez, 30, and Justin, 29, dated intermittently for over eight years until calling it quits in 2018 March.
