A recent report has stated that the turnover of the fans was significantly low. Infact, the records were the lowest in twenty-four years. Over the years, the fans were one of the most important parts of the team. The unexpected attendance seems to be the result of the pandemic. 

Tampa Bay Rays statistics showed the attendance for the season to be 761,072 fans. This was nowhere close to the previous low in the year 2003. That year, the lowest recorded attendance was 1,058,695. The team is hopeful for the fans to gradually return to the action.
