Ten Hag refuted the claim that Sunday’s 6-3 loss at Manchester Derby was more worrisome than Manchester United’s wobbly 3-2 victory at Omonia Nicosia.

At the GSP Stadium, A visiting Manchester United fell down to a Karim Ansarifard goal when the clock only read 33 minutes. Omonia created the goal beautifully as Bruno Felipe ran free with no defenders in his path of David de Gea’s net. Ten Hag’s team thereafter lost their composure till the half. Omonia entered the Group E encounter with just one victory in their previous 26 games in actual European play. However, even after all of this, the coach was informed that the performance was just as concerning as the rivalry defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

Upon asked in the post-match conference, the Manchester United coach said that it was bad till a few minutes after they conceded the goal. He said that it was never easy to create chances against an opponent who were compact, and yet they created many chances.

Erik Ten Hag Happy As Manchester United Comeback In Their Europa League Game:

Both Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia contributed to Ansarifard’s opening goal. Erik the Manchester Unied gaffer was questioned about why his left back Shaw and Winger/FWD Marcus Rashford were substituted in their place at halftime. The Dutchman stated that it wasn’t what he was upset with; it was the ball movement, the space upon that left side, for him, has been no good in the beginning. TEN Hag added that the motion from beneath the defensive line, so with Shaw and Rashford we may have greater influence because of that and in his perspective that happens, the player said.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both netted once during Manchester United’s turnaround, despite Nikolas Panagiotou scoring Omonia’s second goal at the finish. With the victory, United has six points after three contests.
