On Wednesday, the USA Basketball Roster was finalized for the Olympics which will be held in Tokyo. The USA Basketball Roster appears to be full of stars! Jerami Grant, forward, Detroit Pistons, and Zach LaVine, guard, Chicago Bulls pledged to play. But, James Harden, star, Brooklyn Nets, had to, unfortunately, withdraw his name from the competition due to an injury suffered by him in his hamstring. Jerry Colangelo, managing director, USA Basketball, told ESPN. 

The USA Basketball Roster Is Full Of All-Stars!

Kevin Durant will be highlighting the team. He is currently going for his 3rd gold medal. The team of 2016 has a lot of returning members in this squad. The likes of which are Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, State Warriors who managed to come back with a gold medal at the Olympics held in Rio. But the team is also packed with All-Stars who will be playing their 1st Olympics. Players who are playing their 1st Olympics and included in the USA Basketball Roster include Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo, Bradley Beal, and Damian Lillard. Kevin Love, the player who won the gold medal in 2012 in London was included in the USA Basketball Roster! 

Players inside the roster also include Khris Middleton, star, Milwaukee Bucks, Jrue Holiday, star, Milwaukee Bucks, and Devin Booker, star, Phoenix. They will most probably play on 22nd July. That is the same date as the seventh game in the NBA. The first game of USA Basketball will be against France on 22nd July. Colangelo said that all the three players will be flown to Japan quickly after their matches in the NBA. Colangelo said that life is all about relationships. It is a process of forming relationships with many people and the process is not very easy.
