The horrific incident involving actor Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars has received a lot of attention. Many people expressed their perspectives and emotions, but the actor from “The Pursuit of Happyness” never did.

The Hollywood celebrity finally spoke on Friday. He posted a video on Instagram outlining how he’d spent the previous three months mentally repeating the slapping incident.

The actor recalled his winning speech and claimed that by that point, he had “fogged out.” It’s all hazy, he remembered.

A few days after Rock addressed the infamous brawl during his concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, he apologized in a video.

WillSmith explained that he had spent the previous three months unraveling the subtleties of what had occurred on the Oscars stage while wearing a white polo shirt and a white ball cap.

Will Smith also revealed that his wife didn’t support his slap in any way. He said that his decision was based only on his experience and his relationship with Chris. Pinkett Smith disclosed that she has alopecia areata, a condition that causes her to lose her hair.

Since the Oscars 2022 incident—during which Smith assaulted comedian and presenter Chris Rock on the platform of the Dolby Theatre after the latter made a G.I. Smith has apologized three times in various ways for the Jane joke about Jada Pinkett’s baldness.

Smith was prohibited from attending any Academy function for ten years after the altercation by the Academy. After the Oscars, Smith issued an apology to Rock, claiming that he was “out of line” and “wrong.”
