Ivanka Trump is the last member of the tainted family to appear at the civil fraud trial. The accusations stem from the lawsuit that Letitia James, the attorney general of New York has brought against Trump and his business empire.

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled 5 weeks earlier that Donald Trump and his co-defendants were liable for fraud. The judge will decide on the extent of Trump’s punishment. Attorney General James has said that Trump should be fined $250 M and his family permanently striped from running any form of business in the state of New York. While Trump has denied all allegations, his attorneys have argued that the assets have little objective value and that difference in valuation was a common practice in the real estate business.
