Stand Still Like the Hummingbird, the Season 2 Episode 5 of Euphoria, was an incredibly dramatic episode in which Zendaya’s character Rue had a catastrophic mental collapse. Leslie, Jules, and Elliot confronted Rue about her relapse and destroyed her drug stash, which prompted Rue’s mental breakdown.

Zendaya got down for an interview and discussed what went on behind the scenes during the filming of Rue’s traumatic mental collapse. Filming the moment, according to the actor, was both emotionally and physically difficult.

The second season of Zendaya’s HBO program Euphoria has premiered, and although fans are raving about it, the show is getting controversy for depicting underage drug usage.

For the uninitiated, the show revolves around a group of high school students who are dealing with issues such as love, drugs, abuse, social networking, and money.

The most recent season delves much further into these issues, prompting Z to issue a target warning on social media. However, she suddenly finds herself defending the show as it faces backlash for depicting grim topics.

In Euphoria, Zendaya portrays Rue, a heroin addict girl who nearly dies after overdosing. Not only does her character consume drugs, but so do several others. The Drug Abuse Resistance Education, or D.A.R.E., organization, on the other hand, has criticized the performance.

The 25-year-old actress plays in the blockbuster HBO series and also acts as an executive producer. She has said categorically that her program is intended for “mature audiences,” and she has admitted that the series contains stuff that is tough to watch.

Euphoria is now in its second season on HBO, and it has been renewed for a third season due to increased popularity.
