Zoom 5.0 update will bring much-needed security upgrades

Zoom is facing a lot of criticism for its lack of end-to-end encryption and improper security features. Many companies are slowly moving away from Zoom and officials of many countries are actively telling people not to use Zoom. However, a recent update called the Zoom 5.0 update will bring in the 256-bit AES-GCM encryption. 

It is quite a new update and a much-needed one. So, now, with this update, there will be a lot more security when people are using Zoom. The upgrade may not be automatic, that is – it might have to be manually upgraded from the Zoom home page. It is not present there yet but it might come up any time within this week.
