A question was asked to Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, concerning Anthony Fauci, the American physician, scientist, and immunologist. The President was just done with the delivery of remarks on the subject of the latest reports on jobs. And as he was leaving the room, one of the reporters who were present, went forth to ask the question. The Democratic president was asked if he still has his confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Anthony Fauci’s Explanation

President Joe Biden replied by saying that he still believes in the doctor. He had left the room but turned back to give his answer. This move that came in public proved that the President has his full support towards Anthony Fauci. And this is something that never came from Donald Trump, the former President of the country. And the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director was the target of a number of critics from the Republican party.

Just a day before President Biden gave his answer, there was an incident where the former Republican president attacked the 80-year-old director. Trump went on to blast him over a couple of emails that were a part of the statement that was released by the Political Action Committee. The emails stated that Anthony Fauci still has a lot of answers that need attention.

The National Institute director presented his explanations defending himself. He made an appearance on the platform of a news channel this Friday. He claimed that the emails that were being used by Trump to attack him were “profoundly misleading.” He stated that everything was staged as those emails were “out of context.” Despite the years of work that Anthony Fauci has done in the institute during the administration of both presidents, he is always looked upon with suspicion and hostility by the politicians of the Republican party. They have always judged and criticized all of his recommendations with regard to the coronavirus.
