Tucker Carlson Does Not Believe Ted Cruz

On Wednesday, Ted Cruz in a statement said that the week marks the grave anniversary of the Capitol attack where people of service showed immense bravery and courage to protect the Capitol.

On the show, Ted Cruz felt that his words were very careless and idiotic.

However, that host, Tucker Carlson, was not buying the excuse. Tucker Carlson said that he believes Ted Cruz is smarter than him and that he never used words negligently. However, he did call the Capitol Attack a terrorist raid when by no means it was one. Carlson believed that Cruz did so on purpose and wondered why he lied about it.

Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz is an American politician and attorney who is currently serving as the junior United States Senator for Texas since 2013. Cruz is a member of the Republican Party and served as Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to 2008. He went to Harvard Law School and Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Carlson said that Ted Cruz is no fool and that he knew him before he became a part of the Senate.

He said that Ted Cruz knows the value and weight of words and that his using such a callous phrase was very much intentional.

Cruz restated that it was not said purposely but was framed in a very careless way.

Cruz said that he believes people who attack the police are terrorists. Ted added that he used this word to describe all the people who were brutally assaulting police officers last year during the Black Live Matter movement. However, he admitted on the show that it was an error to use the word for the Capitol Riots.
