Patrick Vieira return to Arsenal and it ended with heartbreak as his team was denied the 3 pts by an equalizer. The 95th-minute goal was scored by Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal Came From Behind And Got Their Point Back

Crystal Palace held on with their life for the 3 pts after turning the game around in the second half. Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard scored the 2 goals for Palace while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the first goal of the match for Arsenal.

Arsenal was looking ahead for another win after their first-half attacking football in the game against Tottenham. They were ahead after 8 mins when Pepe assisted Aubameyang to score from a tight angle.

Palace had better chances to score but Edouard and Benteke missed golden opportunities before they equalized. Aaron Ramsdale saved a shot from Conor Gallagher, brilliantly, just before half-time.

Thomas Partey made a mistake that was pounced upon by Jordan Ayew. He fed Benteke who scored with ease after 50 mins.

Ramsdale tipped over a shot from Jordan, which should have been scored by the forward. Lokonga was robbed off the ball in midfield and Edouard punished him by beating Ramdale via the underside of the bar post.

Lacazette was introduced just before Palace scored their second goal and it gave Arsenal the drive that they needed. He flicked on a ball towards Kieran Tierney which hit the bar later on.

He found the equalizer as he smashed the ball home after Ben White’s shot was saved by Guaita. Lacazette and Arsenal finally found a way to deny Patrick Vieira the win that he deserved.
