It is not a hidden fact that all the villains of the MCU or the Marvel Cinematic Universe do not get enough screen time. There has been an expansion of the franchise into the popular streaming channel, Disney+, the television series. This is a grand opportunity for MCU to make amends when it comes to the problems of the villains. And looking at the villain of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, Baron Zemo, it seems like the problem has already been pointed out and addressed.

Baron Zemo Is An Exception

The role of Baron Zemo in the movie, Civil War of The Captain America sequence, is quite influential, negatively. In the third movie of the sequence, he is a survivor from the country, Slovakia. The soldier then goes on to cause discord among the members of the Avengers.

What drives Baron Zemo to do all of this is his belief in the fact that some individuals who are enhanced, have the power to bring about a disruption in the balance of geopolitical issues. However, what is weak is the presence of the villain in the franchise. This is the case despite the fact that he has a huge impact on the plot of the entire MCU franchise, which is quite strange.

There are only a few exceptions of the villains of the MCU who have had a major influence on the sequence beyond their movies they are present individually. They include the attack on New York by Loki from Thor and the snapping that is done by Thanos. Baron Zemo is also included in the list. Not only in that case but also in the fact that he was very much successful in winning against the Avengers for a long period of time.
