Big 12 seems to find answers after the news of Oklahoma & Texas leaving surfaced. There were speculations for a long time that both the teams might leave opting for SEC. The rumors were confirmed recently. Except for any last-minute change of plans, both the teams will be leaving. This leaves the Big 12 searching for answers. Here are some of the options they can consider.

Big 12 Going Off The Track?

The tension among the B12 is increasing. The news has been confirmed about Oklahoma & Texas leaving. This will require some serious brainstorming for the authorities. They are in search of all possible options available at their disposal.

The B12 lost a significant number of allies in the recent past. They could not hold on to Nebraska & Colorado. Both of them joined Big 10 & the Pac-12. They coped up with the shortfalls brilliantly earlier. They incorporated West Virginia & TCU among them. This kept them going for about 12years now.

They have been yet again presented with another staunch challenge. There is a possibility of the B12 completely collapsing. However, they can again go back to their old formula for success. They can bring in new teams. That can prove as a possible bait for the broadcasters not to lose interest.

The teams of the Big 12 are already looking for suitable options for themselves. Baylor can probably consider going to the AAC. Lowa State & Kansas is keen on joining the Big Ten. This makes absolute sense. Provided the tough and passionate team they are, Big Ten would be more than happy to incorporate them. Kansas State will be happy to be a part of any. A possible catch for them can be the MWC. Oklahoma State might be welcomed by both AAC & Pac-12. TCU might opt for Pac-12 while Texas Tech & West Virginia might consider AAC & ACC respectively.
