Big Brother, the popular American television show, is finally back. It is one of the reality competition shows that is based on a similar Dutch show carrying the same theme. The American version was launched in the year 2000 on the 5th of June. It airs over the television platform, CBS and is the second-longest-running show from the entire franchise of Big Brother.
Big Brother Contestants
All the contestants of the show have already moved in. The decor of the apartment is quite questionable with a strange bunch of motivational sign-offs that are a creative product of Julie Chen Moonves, the American television personality. The show can be considered as a “summer staple” of the channel. This is the 23rd season of Big Brother and will begin on Wednesday. The total number of houseguests is 16. The show also has Clare Rehfuss as a “last-minute swap.” The amount of the cash prize is 750,000 USD.
There are a total of 16 cast members in this season of Big Brother. They include people from all the corners of the country belonging to a range of different professions and different age groups. They are Azah Awesome, the 30-year-old sales operation director, Alyssa Lopez, the 24-year-old swimwear designer, Brent Champagne, the 28-year-old flight attendant, Christian Birkenberger, the 23-year-old general contractor assistant, Britain D’Angelo, the 24-year-old teacher, Claire Rehfuss, a tech architecture, Derek Xiao, the 24-year-old start-up founder, Derek Frazier, a safety officer, Brandon French, the 35-year-old farmer, Kyland Young, an account executive.
Big Brother also has a grad student, the 21-year-old Hannah Chaddha, Sarah Steagall, a forensic scientist, Travis Long, a tech sales consultant, Tiffany Mitchell, the 40-year-old Phlebotomist, Xavier Prather, an Attorney, and finally Whitney Wiliams, the 30-year-old make-up artist.
