Billie Eilish, the American singer, and songwriter gave a makeover to her outfit. The “Bad Boy” singer ditched her regular wardrobe for the first time on the red carpet of the Met Gala 2021. She chose to pay homage to the iconic American actress, Marilyn Monroe. The 19-year-old superstar talked about her feelings related to her outfit and the change that she chose to make. Billie Eilish told the host, Keke Palmer, the American actress, that she was trying out her feminine side. And she did it through her MET Gala outfit.

The “When The Party’s Over” singer wore a beautiful gown. It was an off-shoulder blush color. She chose to accessorize it with silver jewelry. The length of the train was 15 feet. Billie Eilish appeared in a bob haircut with some curls which were blonde in color. The color of her lipstick is burgundy. Though the look that she chose for her in a serious break from her regular baggy outfit, the singer and songwriter stated that she had been dreaming of wearing this look.
Billie Eilish gave a statement on how she felt by wearing that outfit. She stated that she was not very comfortable in a typical feminine outfit. The singer claimed that she had been through so much growth over the past few years. Fernando Garcia, one of the many designers, gave a statement with regard to the outfit of the singer. It was stated that Billie had already made her decision to surprise everybody with something she had never worn before.
However, there were a few things that needed to be kept in mind. The singer made the demand that the institute of Oscar de la Renta had to change the entire policy with regard to the use of fur. The co-creative director, Laura Kim, and Garcia had stopped using fur for a long time, however, there were still some items made of fur that were sold in their stores.
