On Dec 22, through an Insta post, Britney Spears announced that her new song is underway. This news comes nearly a month after the termination of the conservatorship.

The conservatorship was enforced in 2008 and put Jamie Spears (her father) and several others in charge of her life and estate. According to a report, Britney’s father made an estimated 5 million dollars off of her during the time he was in control of her life and money.

Britney Spears Is Finally Free

The conservatorship was ended on 12th November 2021 by Judge Brenda  Penny of the LA Apex Court. The Judge stated that the factors which led to Britney’s conservatorship are now irrelevant. Britney was declared competent enough to handle her financial matters and estate.

Britney Spears posted on Instagram after her father asked for “access” to her property a few weeks after the conservatorship had ended. His request was shot down promptly. Her Instagram post had a long caption attached.

In her caption, Britney Spears severely criticized her parents and sister and stated that she hasn’t forgotten nor will she forget what they’ve done to her. She also put them on blast for what they attempted to do 3 years ago to her.

She also mentioned why she had posted a capella. Britney said that it was her manner of being a cheerleader for herself as her family would never be there for her. It was an opportunity to remind herself and the world of her worth.

Britney Spears then continued by including all her achievements and record-breaking figures she has attained in her massively successful music career.
