This year’s Champions League draw has resulted in some sensational group ties. For example, Manchester City has been drawn with PSG. This means Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola will be going head to head. Guardiola might even have Cristiano Ronaldo playing for him as well. And this is just Group A.

Who Got Whom In The Champions League Draw?

Group A has RB Leipzig and Club Brugge joining the two heavyweights. Both PSG and City are the favorites by a margin to be this year’s winners, especially because of the amount they have invested in getting marquee players. At the same time, RB Leipzig has been a giant killer recently, but Nagelsmann is no longer at the helm.

All 4 in Group B have won the cup in their history: Liverpool, Porto, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid. However, going by recent strength, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are the favorites to top the group. AC Milan still has Zlatan Ibrahimovich though, and FC Porto is no pushover either under Sergio Conceicao.

Group C has Besiktas, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, and Sporting CP. Sporting has just won its first domestic league title in almost two decades. It will be a fight for who gets the second spot after Borussia Dortmund in all probability.

In Group D, Real Madrid, Shaktar Donetsk, Inter Milan, and Sheriff Tiraspol got drawn in the Champions League Draw. Inter has lost many of their league-title winning players including Lukaku. Moldova’s Tiraspol will get praised by the world if they manage to secure any points.

Group E has Dynamo Kyiv, Benfica, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich. Barcelona and Bayern are two giants who are currently rebuilding their squad. Group F saw Manchester United, Villareal, BSC Young Boys, and Atalanta. In Group G Vfl Wolfsburg, FC Salzburg, Sevilla, and Lille was drawn together. Finally, in Group H, current champions Chelsea, Malmo, Zenit St. Petersburg, and Juventus were the results of the Champions League draw.
