Dune, the opera about space, has just dropped its new trailers. From the initial look of it, the hype is already palpable. It promises to be epic in every aspect. The first trailer was released about 8 months prior. The show is directed by Denis Villeneuve.
Dune Hypes Up Its “Epic” Release With Second Trailer
After watching the very first glimpse, fans were eager for more. Finally, after eight long months of wait, it is here. The most awaited trailer number 2 of Denis’ dream project is here. The trailer is slightly an extended version of the first one. We get a longer look at how the actual show would turn out to be.
The video initiates with the scene portrayed by Zendaya(Chani). The trailer focused on the chief characters of the show. Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem can be seen. Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Charlotte Rampling, Josh Brolin & Timothée Chalamate were given significant screen time.
Speculations started pouring from all sides once the trailer was revealed. The dreaded Sardaukar troops of the emperor might have been hinted at. The Dune trailer also depicted intense fight sequences. Special mention has to be given to the background scores. The music was a perfect blend of intensity and melody. This only complimented the tension surrounding the trailer appropriately.
Denis is a fantastic director. His creations never lacked quality. Two of his previous releases failed to justify his talents. The box office run for his previous projects was unsatisfactory. All hopes are on his new release that has all the ingredients to be a major hit. Dune is all set to release on the big screens on 22nd October. Other than being screened in the US, it can also be viewed across the globe. OTT partner for the release is HBO Max, which will stream the anticipated epic.
