Jake Gyllenhaal had an uncomfortable family jaunt this weekend, thanks to Taylor Swift. Even as the Oscar nominee was beside sister Maggie at the eleventh Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles, Taylor Swift released a remake of Red, her 2012 album that has a mention of their relationship.
Jake Gyllenhaal presented awards to David Esparza and Mandell Winter, sound editors, for The Guilty on Netflix. Jake Gyllenhaal’s sister Maggie received the award for the breakthrough director for the debut directorial The Lost Daughter. It was presented by Peter Sarsgaard Maggie’s husband.
Swift Does A Special Version Of All Too Well On Her Affair With Jake Gyllenhaal
Taylor Swift had earlier dropped the short for the special edition of All Too Well. It has been speculated that the song was inspired by the relationship between Jake Gyllenhaal and Swift a decade back. The video has Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink as the couple supposed to be centered on the ex-star couple.
Supporters of Swift had since gone on Twitter to hold Jake Gyllenhaal accountable for something that happened a decade ago. They supported Swift for her choice.
Maggie was asked about a line in the lyrics where Swift talks about a scarf she had left at the sister’s house. She was peeved when Andy Cohen, host, broached the subject. She said that it was unfair to ask her about a scarf of which she had no knowledge. She said that it was entirely possible that she had left it, but she did not know anything about it.
Jake Gyllenhaal admitted in the same interview that he had been in love only twice in his life and blamed himself for the break-up. He said it is possible that he got ‘scared.’
The star of The Bubble Boy has dated Jeanne Cadieu since 2018. There were recently seen on the red carpet at the New York Film Festival this September at the screening of The Lost Daughter.
