Jennifer Garner is returning to television with an unexpected part in a popular show. The PS: I Love You star is among the cast members returning for the revival of Party Down, which will air on Starz. Tyrel Jackson Williams and Zoe Chao will also be series regulars. James Marsden will also appear on the show regularly. Adam Scott and Ken Marino, two original cast members, will also be in attendance. Martin Star, Ryan Hansen, Jane Lynch, and Megan Mullaly are also expected to return.

Jennifer Garner Will Be A Regular On The 6 Episode Reboot

Evie, played by Jennifer Garner, is a large movie studio producer who crosses paths with Henry Pollard, played by Scott. After a breakup, the encounter will motivate her to see what else is out there. Sackson is played by Williams (Brockmire), a gorgeous and motivating would-be influencer who is knowledgeable and sophisticated about his narrow online specialty but not so much about the rest of his life. Lucy is played by Chao (Apple’s The Afterparty), a passionate “food artist” who aspires to be a star chef but is currently stuck preparing hors d’oeuvres at Party Down.

Marsden (Paramount+’s The Stand, FX’s Mrs. America) will reprise his role as Jack Botty, a successful superhero franchise’s gorgeous and charming star.

The Party Down reboot is produced by Lionsgate Television, which owns Starz. Executive producing are series creators John Enbom, Rob Thomas, Dan Etheridge, and Paul Rudd, with Enbom serving as showrunner.

Fans have been begging for a comeback of this series for years, and when Starz announced it last year, they decided to give it to them. Rob Thomas will return as executive producer, while Scott will also function as EP. Paul Rudd will also serve as an executive producer on the film.
