The state of Los Angeles has taken the initiative to provide qualifying residents with a direct stimulus check in the upcoming days. This stimulus check is being dispensed by a welfare program known as Breathe. Like other US states, Los Angeles too is providing financial stimulus to its residents to tackle the ongoing inflation in the US, which has shot up the prices of daily commodities and housing.
The Breathe stimulus check payments will be sent out to eligible residents, who qualified the eligibility criteria. 1,000 candidates have been chosen by Breathe, to whom, stimulus payments worth $ 1,000 will be sent out directly by the 15th of every month and continue for a course of 3 years. The Breathe program aims at providing financial aid to residents who were formerly under foster care. The chosen 1,000 candidates of this program were formerly in the care of the Department of Children and Family Services of Los Angeles County, and are now young adults of ages ranging from 21 to 23 years.
