News of yet another conflict between the Joe Biden-led US administration and North Korea surfaces recently. Several top US officials have mentioned in the latest reports that Biden’s administration has tried to reach Pyongyang, North Korea via multiple channels but in vain. North Korea continues to remain unresponsive to Joe Biden’s outreach program for almost a month now.

The uncovering of this unsuccessful bipartisan outreach currently leads to more serious questions like what will the US administration lead by President Joe Biden do about the escalating tension regarding Pyongyang’s ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs. The official who spoke out about the unresponsiveness of North Korea regarding the issue also mentioned how the country has been trying to reach out to North Korea since the middle of February. He says, “To date, we have not received any response from Pyongyang.”

Joe Biden To Do A Policy Review With North Korea

President Joe Biden and his new administration have been tackling the issue of North Korea with utmost scrutiny and care. According to him, the matter has to be handled with a lot of caution. He mentions that a lot has to be reviewed after the unprecedented ways in which Trump engaged with the leader of North Korea. Biden administration claims that the former President had failed to convince North Korea to give up its arms hoarding.

In a recent statement, a top official mentioned that the outreach included an evaluation of all the options available to address the threat that North Korea poses to its neighbors and the global community in general.

The statement does not include any other specifications related to the Joe Biden outreach program. They further mentioned that the US has been in constant touch with allies from South Korea and Japan regarding the same issue.
