The quarterbacks and pass-catchers took center stage on Thursday during the first night of exercises at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine.
While a few NFL Combine 2022 wide receivers and tight ends declined to participate in all of the physical tests, those who did dazzle evaluators with their speed in the 40-yard dash, quickness in shuttle drills, and explosiveness in the broad and vertical leaps.

Some of those tests were also completed by quarterbacks, though teams are far more interested in the on-field exercises for passers. Organizations looking for a potential signal-caller took particular attention to how tightly the ball left each quarterback’s hand, as well as his accuracy, strength, athleticism, and arc of downfield throws.
However, because most of these passing duos have never worked together before, any minor synchronization errors may be disregarded.
