NFL Trade Deadline Nov 1
The 2022 deadline has already been a bustling one, with several superstars on the move and perhaps a few more to go. We’ve gotten enough in the hopper to start the all-important process of grading those moves. While this is difficult—in many cases the players haven’t gotten much of an opportunity—we can still get a sense of each team’s situation, the compensation they doled out, and how they’ll be able to best utilize the player’s skill set.
Names to look out for in the remaining few days before the trade deadline
Cam Akers: The man who had been laid low with torn Achilles in 2021 and has not played ever since week 5 of the NFL is having a hard time with his team’s coach. Akers has his contract with the Rams till 2024. He is being shopped openly, even though they are displaying that they want him to be retained.
Chase Claypool: The talented youngster with a rookie deal.
Mike Gesicki: The misfit. With a low average of 28 Y/G
Antonio Gibson: Talent Power House. Versatile. He could be a good trade for a team in need of a back.
Stephon Gilmore: This 32-year-old can still make a difference as he showed in the week 5 game. The 2019 season saw him win the award for the most defensive player.
