Paris Jackson Was Distraught After MJ’s Death
On the episode of Wednesday, Smith had asked Paris Jackson how she was strong enough to withstand losing Michael Jackson. She replied that she did not really know. 23-year-old Paris only said that she was too young to make any conscious decision. So she just lived on. She said that she just followed instructions without understanding much. There was not much guidance for her.
After Michael Jackson passed away in 2009, Paris’ grandmother Katherine Jackson had taken her in. Her life changed drastically. She used to be homeschooled, now she had to go to a usual school. Many among Paris Jackson’s relatives are devout witnesses of Jehovah.
She adds that she remains close with her brother and often meets her family during reunions. They are free to call her whenever they want because she received a lot of respect and love from them. However, some members of her family do not approve of Paris’s bisexual preference.
She explains that her family is extremely religious so homosexuality is quite taboo. However, she does not mind that anymore and respects their beliefs and religion.
As for Debbie Rowe, she had not met her till she had become 15. Since then, though, the relationship between the two has been maintained especially recently. Paris explained that she likes learning about her mother and the similarities with her. The two look quite similar and Debbie even likes folk and country music. She loves the friend that she has in her mother.
