Sam Smith Stuns The Crowd With Dynamic Harri Attire On BRIT Awards

Sam Smith

Pop Singer Sam Smith makes quite a big statement with his outfit for this year’s BRIT Awards. Grammy award-winning artist who hit 30 this year came out as non-binary in May of 2019. His outfit was sure to turn heads on this season’s red carpet for its over-the-top extravagant style, the dress almost looked like a bizarre-looking silhouette walking down towards O2 Arena where the award ceremony is held. This apparel looks like a comeback for the backlash he received for his costume choices in ‘Not Here to Make Friends’ MV.

Inspiration Behind Sam Smith’s Bizarre Costume On Red Carpet This Year

The outfit was exclusively custom-made by a fashion label in London named ‘Harri’ which consisted of an all-black suit made of latex. The features were quite absurd with high pointy shoulders along with outwardly pointed wide thighs, and that’s not all as they both were inflated on top of that.

Sam Smith accessorized his whole look with high-heeled black boots and shiny gloves paired with pearl earrings on the right ear whilst studs on his left. Harri, the designer behind this outrageous dress revealed that the inspiration for the look came from the hate comments received by the artist recently and the shape of their body played an integral role in the choice of  “the” outfit.

Sam Smith was found facing an enormous amount of hate recently after the music video of ‘Unholy’ came out regarding their body image, shares designer Harri. He wanted to show his take on expressing the singer’s natural best form and its hidden beauty behind one’s self. He created a never been seen before the image of Sam that people will behold for years to come.
