Sharon Stone has disclosed the identity of the producer she alleges suggested she engage in sexual relations with her Sliver co-star Billy Baldwin to enhance their “onscreen chemistry.”
Sharon Stone Recalls Incident in Her Memoir
In her 2021 memoir, Stone recounted the incident without naming the producer. However, during a recent episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast, Stone identified the producer as Robert Evans, who passed away in 2019.
Stone recounted a meeting with Evans where he purportedly suggested she should sleep with Baldwin to improve his performance in the film. She described Evans’ reasoning as tied to the belief that her “uptight” demeanor was hindering the movie.
Baldwin swiftly responded to Stone’s accusations on social media, threatening to expose purportedly scandalous details about her. However, his claims were challenged by Janice Dickinson, who refuted Baldwin’s version of events.
Stone reiterated her experience in her memoir, emphasizing her refusal to comply with the producer’s demands and expressing her frustration with the situation.
During her discussion on the podcast, Stone also contrasted her experience with Baldwin to her work with Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct, highlighting the professionalism of her former co-star.
