Six-Month-Old Baby Beats Coronavirus While Battling Heart And Lung Problems

Little Erin Bates, born with congenital heart and respiratory diseases, and recovering from surgery for the same was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Erin was photographed in the Alder Hey Hospital high-dependency unit at Liverpool, surrounded by an assortment of machines, and wearing an oxygen mask. These heartbreaking photos were shared by her family to iterate the importance of following social distancing orders.

However, Erin overcame the virus, with relentless help from the medical experts at Alder Hey. The Wayne’s were delighted at the news and dedication of the staff and took to social media to appreciate their efforts.

Although little Erin will remain a long-term patient owning to her other conditions, this news provided a huge win for both her and her family.
