For the majority of Americans, the federal stimulus payments made amid the pandemic have become a near-forgotten memory. However, stimulus checks are being made still at the local level for anything from surplus tax returns to disaster relief.
Following States To Renew Stimulus Check Programs In May
California
Residents who submitted state tax rebates by 15th October 2021, and resided in Calif as full-time resident for at least 6 months around 2020, are eligible for California stimulus payments ranging from $200 to $1,050.
Georgia
As per the Georgia Department of Revenue, if you satisfied the following requirements, you may be qualified for last year’s Excess Tax Rebate: Submitted your Individual Revenue Tax Return before the due date of 18th April 2023 (or by the due date of 16th October 2023, if any extension had been granted) for tax years 2021 and 2022. You also have to have been a resident of the place.
Maine
Winter Relief stimulus checks of about $450 for singles and around $900 for couples are available to citizens of Maine. All checks were anticipated to be sent by 31st March 2023, according to a statement from the office of Maine Governor Janet Mills.
New Jersey
