The Netflix drama involving the saga of 18 episodes dedicated to Selena Quintanilla, singer-songwriter, which is about the rise of the singer to stardom, came to a tragic close. Selena Quintanilla was played by actor Christian Serratos. The show had to end because of the untimely and tragic death of Selena by Yolanda Saldivar, the president of her previous fan club. Yolanda Saldivar was played by actor Natasha Perez. The untimely tragic shooting was kept away from the show and not included in the drama because the drama on Netflix was designed to celebrate the family, music, and life of Selena Quintanilla.

Instead, Selena’s friend was staunchly defended by Selena who always stood by the side of her friend even when Abraham, her friend’s dad proved how embezzling Yolanda was. Abraham is played by actor Ricardo Chavira. Selena also received the call of Yolanda, where Yolanda hinted that something terrible was happening to her. Selena followed Yolanda to the motel where she was staying. The viewpoint completely changed to something like a worker who is just cleaning one more room hospitably.

The Arguments Between Yolanda And Selena Quintanilla Not Shown On Screen

The news reports which documented several of the arguments that used to take place between Yolanda and Selena were cut off by a gunshot captured in the off-camera. However, neither the argument was portrayed on the screen, nor did the camera follow Selena Qunitanella running out of her room while shouting and naming Yolanda Saldivar as her killer and getting help. Instead, the show completely avoided showing the real events and cut straight to the scene when Selena Quintanilla was rushed to the room of the hospital. Flashes of events and scenes taking place earlier followed this camera scene.
