Director Martin Scorsese‘s new film The Killers Of The Flower Moon first trailer has just been released. This 2023 film is much awaited by fans to see its story unfold. The film, The Killer Of The First Moon is adapted from David Grann’s book of a similar title Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.
The film narrates the mysterious murders of members of the Osage Tribe which opens a vital investigation by the FBI and is set in the 1920s. Ed Vulliamy of The Guardian has commented on David Grann’s book calling it disturbing and a timely portrayal of a Native American genocide by the white population. The movie has eminent and famed actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Brendan Fraser, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Lily Gladstone among others.
Martin Scorsese spoke in an interview commenting on Leonardo DiCaprio, with whom The Killer of the Flower Moon is the seventh project, has said, that the best part of Dicaprio is how often he collaborates with him. Scorsese has also called him a natural actor.
Writer of the book, Grann in an interview regarding Martin’s film previously stated that he was impressed with the amount of research and care taken in the correct portrayal of his story.

The Killer of the Flower Moon’s budget of $200 million is funded by Apple. The film will hit theaters on October 6. Recently, Leonardo DiCaprio tweeted on the day of the trailer release, that he is very proud of this project, and that he cannot wait to share the story with the audience.
