Trump Floats Delaying Election Despite Lack Of Authority To Do So

Long feared by Democrats, Donald Trump finally floats the idea of delaying the November Presidential Elections.

Trump voiced his concerns regarding the upcoming elections to be held during the pandemic era. However, reports suggest that he floated the idea to circumvent voting in an election where he is trailing behind his Democrat nominee Joe Biden by a double digit figure.

The date of voting is set by the Congress according to the Constitution and sources report that Trump has no actual authority to comment or delay the date of Presidential Elections.

President Trump tweeted on Thursday morning that this election is bound to be the most fraudulent of elections. This tweet comes 96 days before the actual date of contest and only minutes after the news of the worst GDP fall was reported.

The tweet reads, “There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed.”

He further adds, “With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???”
